Traumatic Brain Injury Pain

Each year, traumatic brain injuries, also known as TBI’s, result in over 1.3 million visits to an emergency room. A TBI can be caused by a bump, blow or jolt to the head or a penetrating head injury that disrupts the normal function of the brain. Over 75% of these visits are a result of a concussion and the most common complaint? Headaches after a TBI, that last long after the injury, some lasting even past a year.
